Specifics are what make an About page worth reading.Nahalio Studio builds websites for small businesses — the kind of business where the owner is also the person answering the phone, and a website is either bringing in work or quietly costing money.
Most of the small business sites we are asked to replace fall into two camps. Either somebody paid a lot for something that was abandoned the day it launched, or somebody paid very little for a template that has been slowly breaking ever since. Both end the same way: an owner who does not know who to call.
So we do both halves. We design and build the site, and then we host it and look after it for a flat monthly fee. That means the certificate gets renewed, the backups actually run, and when you want the opening hours changed you email one person and it is done.
It also means we have to build things that hold up, because we are the ones maintaining them.
How we work
Three commitments
Price it up front
You see the number before you talk to anyone. Hourly billing rewards slow work, and quotes that require a sales call usually mean the price depends on what you look like you can pay.
Build it to last
Fewer moving parts means fewer things to break. We build lean sites on infrastructure we run ourselves, which is also why we can afford to keep maintaining them.
Stay reachable
You get one person who knows your project, not a ticket queue. If something is wrong with your site, the person who built it is the person who fixes it.
